The configuration utility for the Samba software suit, a collection of programs that implements the protocols necassary for unix/like systems to serve files, folders, and printers to Windows, NT, OS2 and DOS clients. This package will install all necassary samba packages.
GParted uses libparted to detect and manipulate devices and partition tables while several filesystem tools provide support for filesystems not included in libparted. A very versatile and powerful partitioning tool which is also available in a LiveCD mode.
This program allow you to easily configure all of your NTFS devices to allow write support via a friendly gui. For that use it will configure them to use the open source ntfs 3g driver. You will also be able to easily disable this feature.

This is a fairly simple project. A collection of simple dialogs as a front-end to GConf. We will provide extra configuration settings for GNOME that 'power users' have been requesting since the release of GNOME 2.0. Presently, dialogs with settings for Nautilus, the Session and Menus are provided.
StartUp Manager or SUM is a custom application built specifically for Ubuntu systems using the Grub Boot Manager and USplash. SUM is used to configure those applications default settings. Basically it changes your systems boot order and boot splash.
