 A cool compositing launcher and applet bar that serves as a drop-in replacement for desktop panels. Very similar to the Apple MAC OSX bar and is capable of auto-hiding, menu plugins, stacks, file manager menus, and a lot, lot more. New applets and plugins are being written for it everyday and Avant will be surpassing the MacBar in functionality sooner than later.
